Driving from downtown Warminster to Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area takes less than two hours via route PA-611. Some of the facilities visitors can use while exploring this nature reserve include swimming beaches, boat ramps, hiking and cycling trails, and picnic spots. Several primitive and fully equipped campgrounds are available for those wanting to stay overnight.



3. New Haven

Founded in 1638 as the first planned city in the United States, New Haven is a beautiful tourist destination known for its rich history and culture. Home to Yale University and other important institutions, this beautiful city is located 170 miles northeast of Westminster and can be reached in about three hours and 30 minutes. Some of the local attractions you can find here include New Haven Green, the Yale University Art Gallery, and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.
