Just Down the Road: 4 Favorite Ice Cream Places Near Warminster, PA

1. Angy’s Cafe 

Located right in Warminster, this cafe is a popular go-to spot for cones and classic treats like banana splits and root beer floats. You can also order funnel cake topped with a few scoops and other delicious sweets, from nuts and fruit to hot fudge and whipped cream. If that isn’t enough, Angy’s also serves full menus for breakfast and lunch with sandwiches, omelets, wraps, quesadillas, fish tacos, and more.

Angy’s Cafe is located at 336 York Rd. It’s open Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 am. to 10 p.m.


2. Uncle Mike’s Homemade

If you love homemade scoops crafted the old-fashioned way, you’ll love this small shop in Warminster. Uncle Mike’s menu includes dozens of flavors and also adds sorbet to the mix. Order a few scoops, a cone, a sundae, a milkshake, or even a pint or two to take home and enjoy later. They also have cookie sandwiches, pies, and cakes.

Uncle Mike’s Homemade is located at 537 York Rd. You can visit from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday or 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.


3. Scoops and Spoons

Located less than 5 miles from Warminster in Southampton, Scoops and Spoons has both dine-in and take-out, including traditional flavors as well as frozen yogurt. You can also book the shop’s team for events and private parties. Scoops and Spoons is a local favorite for its friendly service, and they even hand out free samples if you want to try a flavor or two before you buy.

Don’t miss specialties like Coconut Crazy, Salted Caramel Cashew, and Happy Birthday Cake, not to mention classics like chocolate and vanilla and an array of seasonal selections. Scoops and Spoons is at 362 Second Street Pk. It’s open from 2 to 8 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday with extended hours until 9 p.m. on Friday.


4. Hick’s Old-Fashioned 

This shop is about 7 miles from Warminster in nearby Huntingdon Valley. Hick’s Old-Fashioned is our favorite local spot for hand-dipped flavors. They have cones, sundaes, shakes, and a ton of toppings, so you can customize the icy dessert of your dreams.

Hick’s Old-Fashioned is located at 715 Fetters Mill Sq. It’s open from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
